Abstract
According to Neidari (2016) the phenomenon of malls in big cities in Indonesia to urban communities in Indonesia and their impact on the environment is that malls provide an aesthetic experience for urban communities in the city. South Tangerang City which has many shopping centers (malls) is related to this statement. Of the many malls in South Tangerang, there are malls that have the concept of open malls (open space). This research was made to determine the visitor's perception of the concept of an open mall in South Tangerang City. According to Said et al (2016) there are several factors that influence the selection of the mall as a place to shop. This study uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale to measure how visitors' perceptions of the concept of open malls, the case study in this study is The Breeze Mall BSD City. In the results obtained that have been processed, overall The Breeze Mall BSD City has fulfilled all the existing factors, so The Breeze Mall BSD City as an open mall has the potential to become a mall that is always visited in South Tangerang. Keywords: Open Mall, Mall Selection Factors, The Breeze BSD City, South Tangerang Menurut Neidari (2016) fenomena mal di Indonesia Kota Tangerang fenomena mal terhadap masyarakat urban di Indonesia dan dampaknya terhadap lingkungan adalah bahwa mal memberikan pengalaman estetika bagi masyarakat urban merupakan suatu kota. Kota Tangerang Selatan yang memiliki banyak pusat perbelanjaan (mal) berhubungan dengan pernyataan tersebut. Dari banyaknya mal di Tangerang Selatan, ada mal yang memiliki konsep mal terbuka (open space). Penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui persepsi pengunjung terhadap konsep mal terbuka di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Menurut Said dkk (2016) ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan mal sebagai tempat berbelanja. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert untuk mengukur bagaimana persepsi pengunjung terhadap konsep mal terbuka, studi kasus pada penelitian ini adalah The Breeze Mall BSD City. Pada hasil yang didapatkan yang telah diolah, secara keseluruhan The Breeze Mall BSD City telah memenuhi semua faktor yang ada, sehingga The Breeze Mall BSD City berpotensi menjadi mal yang selalu dikunjungi di Tangerang Selatan.
