Abstract
Traffic accidents are one of the factors that increase the death rate in Indonesia. The number of traffic accidents in Indonesia is increasing every year. Traffic accidents can occur due to human factors. The most common cause of accidents is human negligence. This study was conducted to determine the seriousness of the conflict at the intersection of Jl. KH Mas Mansyur – JL. KH Hasyim Ashari, Tangerang using the Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT) method and providing alternative solutions at the intersection. The results of this study obtained that there were 49 serious conflicts and 10 non-serious conflicts which were divided into 9 conflict points at the intersection. The biggest serious conflict point is located at the intersection point of the West RT with East ST by 12%, East ST with South RT by 22%, and West RT with South RT by 19%. At a serious point, the biggest conflict has the potential for front-side and side-side collisions, which are dominated by motorcycles and followed by private cars. Efforts made to reduce the level of conflict are adding road signs, making medians, and adding facilities for pedestrians. Keywords : trasnportasion, unsigned intersections, conflict, TCT Kecelakaan lalu lintas menjadi salah satu faktor meningkatnya angka kematian yang terjadi di Indonesia. Jumlah kecelakaan lalu lintas di Indonesia terjadi peningkatan di setiap tahunnya. Kecelakaan lalu lintas dapat terjadi akibat dari faktor manusia. Penyebab yang paling sering terjadinya kecelakaan adalah kelalaian dari manusia itu sendiri. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat keseriusan konflik di persimpangan Jl. KH Mas Mansyur – JL. KH Hasyim Ashari, Tangerang dengan metode Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT) dan memberikan alternatif solusi pada persimpangan tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh terdapat 49 serius konflik dan 10 tidak serius konflik yang terbagi menjadi 9 titik konflik di persimpangan. Titik serius konflik terbesar terletak di titik pertemuan persimpangan dari arah Barat RT dengan Timur ST sebesar 12% , Timur ST dengan Selatan RT sebesar 22%, dan Barat RT dengan Selatan RT sebesar 19%. Pada titik serius konflik terbesar itu mempunyai potensi konflik tabrakan depansamping dan samping-samping yang didominasi oleh kendaraan sepeda motor dan diikuti kendaraan mobil pribadi. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi tingkat konflik adalah penambahan rambu jalan, membuat median, dan penambahan fasilitas untuk pejalan kaki.
