Abstract

Marriage is a marriage agreement pledge ceremony carried out by the bride and groom with the aim of formalizing the marriage bond of the two bride and groom according to social norms, religious norms, and legal norms. Wedding events have many variations and variations according to ethnic, cultural, social and religious customs. Wedding ceremonies have many varieties and variations according to ethnic, religious, cultural, and social class traditions. In practice, the bride and groom wear traditional clothes from their respective regions. There is the most prominent decoration in the traditional Lampung pepadun wedding costume, namely the siger. Siger Pepadun has the same shape as the form of the rumah gadang in West Sumatra, with nine bars / grooves, on top of which four petals of banyan flower grow and are golden yellow. Siger Pepadun has a five-story shape from bottom to top and above the main Siger there is a small three-tiered crown resembling a buffalo horn called Seraja Bulan. Keyword : Siger, Sigokh, Lampung. Pernikahan merupakan upacara ikrar perjanjian nikah yang dilaksanakan oleh mempelai lelaki dan perempuan dengan tujuan meresmikan ikatan perkawinan dua mempelai tersebut secara norma sosial, norma agama, dan norma hukum. Acara pernikahan mempunyai banyak jenis, dan jenis acara pernikahan sesuai dengan adat istiadat suku, budaya, sosial, dan agama.. Dalam pelaksanaannya kedua mempelai menggunakan pakaian adat dari daerah masing-masing. Ada hiasaan yang paling menonjol dalam kostum pernikahan adat Lampung pepadun yaitu siger. Jika dilihat bentuk rumah gadang di Sumatera Barat, bentuknya hampir sama dengan Siger Pepadun yang memiliki jeruji / lekuk berjumlah Sembilan, dimana atas siger tersebut terpasang empat hiasan kelopak bunga dan daun beringin yang berwarna kuning emas. Siger Pepadun mempunyai bentuk bertingkat, tingkat bawah terdapat ornament-ornamen siger, ruji / lekuk dan tingkatan atas Siger tersusun tiga mahkota kecil yang disebut Seraja Bulan yang bentuknya menyerupai tanduk kerbau.
