Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine if there is an effect of coaching GROW model towards career maturity of class XI students of SMAN 13 Tangerang City. This research used a quantitative method with quasi-experimental design using one group pre-post test and purposive sampling technique. The participants of this research are 20 students of class XI SMAN 13 Tangerang City with age of 16-18 years old and have the lowest career maturity score among the total number of population which was 77 students of class XI SMAN 13 Tangerang City. This research used career maturity scale which was developed by Krisphianti & Nurwulansari (2022) consists of 55 valid items and has a reliability score of alpha cronbach 0,892. The data analysis using paired samples t-test by IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows on the pre-test and post-test score to examine the difference between the scores and see if there is a significant difference. The result of this research shows that the is an effect of coaching GROW model towards career maturity of class XI students of SMAN 13 Tangerang City with the paired samples t-test result showed 2-tailed significance score is 0.000 < 0.05 Keywords : career maturity, coaching GROW model, high school students Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh coaching model GROW terhadap kematangan karir siswa kelas XI SMAN 13 Kota Tangerang. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen kuasi menggunakan one group pre-post test dan teknik purposive sampling. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa/i kelas XI SMAN 13 Kota Tangerang rentang usia 16-18 tahun dengan skor kematangan karir terendah dari jumlah keseluruhan populasi 77 siswa/i kelas XI SMAN 13 Kota Tangerang. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah skala kematangan karir yang dikembangkan oleh Krisphianti & Nurwulansari (2022) terdiri dari 55 item yang telah dinyatakan valid dan memiliki angka reliabilitas alpha cronbach 0,892. Analisis data menggunakan paired samples t-test melalui IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows terhadap skor pre-test dan post-test guna melihat perbedaan skor keduanya dan melihat apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh coaching model GROW terhadap kematangan karir siswa kelas XI SMAN 13 Kota Tangerang dengan hasil uji paired samples t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 2-tailed sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 Kata Kunci : kematangan karir, coaching model GROW, siswa sekolah menengah atas
