Abstract
Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara yang mempunyai berbagai macam destinasi wisata menjadi sorotan dunia. Salah satunya Kota Bandung yang memiliki destinasi wisata unggulan dan populer bagi turis domestik maupun mancanegara. Lokasinya yang dekat dengan Ibukota Jakarta, menjadikan Bandung acap kali disebut sebagai “short escape” bagi para penghuni Ibukota. Potensi inilah yang menjadi dasar dari kebutuhan adanya hotel dan resort di Bandung, khususnya Kelurahan Isola, Kecamatan Sukasari, Kabupaten Bandung. Tema yang diangkat dalam merancang hotel dan resort ini adalah Green Architecture dan Neo Vernakular. Dimana kedua tema ini merupakan bentuk kontribusi seorang arsitektur untuk tetap menjaga stabilitas alam, khususnya Indonesia. Kata Kunci: hotel dan resort, bandung, green architecture, neo vernacular ABSTRACT Indonesia as a country that has various tourist destinations has become the world spotlight. On of them is Bandung, which has excellent tourist destinations and is popular with domesic and foreign tourists. It’s location close to the capital city of Jakarta, because of that Bandung often referred to as “short escape” for the residents of the capital. This potential is the basis of the need for hotels and resorts in Bandung, especially Kelurahan Isola, Kecamatan Sukasari, Kabupaten Bandung. Theme that is use in designing this hotel and resort are Green Architecture and Neo Vernakular.
