Abstract
ANALISA PENURUNAN CACAT PRODUK TEH SLIMMING PADA SAAT PENGISIAN DI MESIN TEA PACK DENGAN METODE SIX SIGMA (DMAIC) DI PT. XYZ ABSTRAK PT. XYZ adalah salah satu industri yang bergerak di bidang kosmetik & jamu tradisional, salah satu produk yang dihasilkan yaitu teh slimming. Dalam proses Produksi PT. XYZ mempunyai masalah dalam proses bagian pengisian teh slimming. Pada proses pengisian teh slimming di mesin tea pack masih belum mencapai zero defect (kecacatan nol) sehingga menyebabkan proses produksi terganggu dan menyebabkan kerugian untuk perusahaan. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk teh slimming perusahaan harus berusaha meningkatkan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve (DMAIC) akan mencari tahu penyebab terjadinya penurunan kualitas pada proses pengisian produk teh slimming dan faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan banyaknya produk cacat yang dihasilkan. Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, dan Control (DMAIC) adalah sebuah komponen dasar dari metodelogi enam sigma yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja suatu proses dengan mengeliminasi defect. Hasil perhitungan yaitu 5957100pcs selama periode 2017 dam mendapatkan hasil nilai DPO 0.0057, nilai DPMO 5748 dan nilai sigma 4,0289. Melalui perhitungan FMEA di dapatkan penyebab cacat teh slimming yaitu pada bagian paper adalah menurunnya performa mesin dengan RPN 280. XYZ is one of the industries engaged in the field of cosmetics & traditional herbal medicine, one of the resulting product is slimming tea. In the process of Production of PT. XYZ has problems in the process of filling slimming tea parts. In the process of filling slimming tea in the tea pack machine still has not reached zero defect (zero defect), causing the production process is disrupted and cause losses for the company. To improve the quality of slimming tea products the company must try to improve the quality of the products produced. This study was conducted by using the method of Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve (DMAIC) will find out the cause of the quality decline in the process of filling slimming tea products and any factors that cause the number of defective products produced. Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) is a basic component of the six sigma methodology used to improve the performance of a process by eliminating defects. Result of calculation that is 5957100pcs during period 2017 and get result of DPO value 0.0057, DPMO 5748 value and sigma value 4,0289.
