Abstract
Judul : Pengaruh Subtitusi Batu Kapur Sebagai Semen Dan Limbah Plastik Sebagai Agregat Kasr Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton, Nama : Alan Bandangan, NIM : 41116210019, Dosen Pembimbing : Acap Hidayat S.T MT Berkembangnya teknologi beton dizaman ini, inovasi beton sangat diperlukan karena tidak menutup kemungkinan material beton ini yakni agregat halus, agregat kasar, semen, dan air semakin lama semakin berkurang atau menipis. Dibutuhkan inovasi yang bisa mengurangi pemakaian semen dengan menggunakan bahan yang lain, sehingga pemakaian semen bisa dikurangi jumlahnya. Contoh inovasi sebagai bahan yang bisa dicamur dangan beton antara lain fly ash, abu kelapa sawit, kapur padam, abu ampas tebu dan lain – lain. Hal ini yang menjadi pendorong penelitan untuk campuran beton selain pasir, kerikil, semen dan air dilakukan penambahan bahan dalam campuran beton yaitu batu kapur sebagai substitusi semen dan limbah plastik sebagai substitusi agregat kasar. Penggunaan batu kapur diharapkan bisa mengurangi kadar semen dan penggunaan limbah plastik dapat menekan penggunaan kerikil dari batu kali sehinngga tidak merusak ekositem sungai. Adanya penambahan batu kapur dan limbah plastik diharapkan tanpa mengurangi kekuatan betonnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan persentase batu kapur dibuat dengan persentase variasi dari 0% sampai 15% (0%, 1%, 5%, 10%, dan 15%) dari volume semen yang berdasarkan eksperimen (perhitungan mix design) dan untuk limbah plastik dengan persentase variasi dari 0% sampai 10% (0%, 1%, 5%, dan 10%) dari volume agregat kassar yang berdasarkan eksperimen saya (perhitungan mix design). http://digilib.mercubuana.ac.id/ v Beton dicetak dengan menggunakan cetakan silinder berukuran 15cmx30cm sebanyak 4 buah pada masing-masing mutu beton uji. Akan diuji kuat tekan pada umur 14, dan 28 hari. Hasil penelitian beton dengan tambahan substitusi berupa kapur yang disubstitusikan kedalam semen dan limbah plastik yang disubstitusikan keladalam agrgat kasar cenderung mengalami penurunan mutu atau kuat tekan jika dibandingkan dengan beton normal tanpa adanya bahan tambah substitusi. Penelitian nilai kuat tekan tertinggi beton yang dicampur dengan bahan substitusi yaitu pada campuran atau variasi A (1% + 1%) dengan hasil yang sudah dirata - rata yaitu sebesar 20.27Mpa. An innovation is needed that can reduce the use of cement by using other materials, so that the amount of cement usage can be reduced. Examples of innovation as a material that can be mixed with concrete include fly ash, palm ash, extinguished lime, bagasse ash and others. This is what drives research for concrete mixtures other than sand, gravel, cement and water, adding materials to the concrete mixture, namely limestone as a substitute for cement and plastic waste as a substitute for coarse aggregate. The use of limestone is expected to reduce cement levels and the use of plastic waste can reduce the use of gravel from river stones so as not to damage the river ecosystem. The addition of limestone and plastic waste is expected without reducing the strength of the concrete. This study uses the percentage of limestone made with a percentage variation from 0% to 15% (0%, 1%, 5%, 10%, and 15%) of the volume of cement based on experiments (mix design calculations) and for plastic waste with a percentage variations from 0% to 10% (0%, 1%, 5%, and 10%) of the crude aggregate volume based on my experiment (mix design calculations). The concrete is molded by using 4 cylindrical molds measuring 15cmx30cm for each test concrete quality. The compressive strength will be tested at the age of 14 and 28 days.
