Abstract
Dalam uraian Tugas Akhir ini turbin direncanakan untuk pengganti pemutar poros mesin pengupas kulit kopi yang selama ini digunakan sebagai pemutar poros tersebut dengan tangan (manual). Debit air yang digunakan adalah 150 liter/detik atau 0,15 m3/detik, tinggi tekan air yaitu 5 meter. Turbin ini direncanakan mengghasilkan daya 6,25 kW, jenis turbin yang digunakan adalah turbin impuls (aliran langsung Ossberger) serta direncanakan kecepatan putaran turbin sebesar 500 rpm. Jumlah sudu yang diperlukan pada turbin ini sebanyak 12 buah. Diameter puli 375 mm, diameter poros 25 mm. Panjang sabuk – V 3277 mm dengan nomor nominal sabuk – V yaitu nomor 129. Bahan pembuatan turbin adalah baja karbon rendah standar St 37. Ukuran pasak 8 x 7, panjang pasak 18,75 mm dan bahan pasak S 45C, dicelup dingindan dilunakkan. Bantalan yang digunakan adalah bantalanrol kerucut nomor 32305 dengan umur bantalan 196774,415 jam
