Abstract

CASUAL STYLE MULTIFUNCTIONAL CANVAS BAG Writen Project Report Study Programs Product Design Department of Graphic Design & Multimedia Mercu Buana University Bekasi, 2017 By : AZIZAH MAULIYAH ABSTRACT Teenagers in Jakarta who are still in school with various difficulties when they want to go to college, making them need a container of goods that have speed in technical use but still fashionable. Bags are widely used by teenagers who are still studying today can’t meet the needs in a fast technical. So it is necessary to have a bag product that can be quickly and multifunction in the use so that no forget will close the bag. The purpose of this design is a casual multifunctional canvas bag that can be used teenagers who sometimes forget to close the bag with the atmosphere of fashion development. The process of building a multifunctional multifunctional canvas bag begins with attention to teenagers by looking at various difficulties in running the bag. The next design, into the design of the sketch, then goes into the engineering drawings, after the design is selected the next step the designer to study material bag, make patterns, and proceed to the production stage. With this multifunctional casual canvas bag design is expected to meet the needs of teenagers, especially in terms of comfort when carrying and simple to use technically anywhere. Bekasi, 2017 Oleh : AZIZAH MAULIYAH ABSTRAK Aktivitas remaja di Jakarta yang masih bersekolah dengan berbagai macam kesulitan ketika ingin berangkat ke kampus, membuat mereka membutuhkan wadah barang yang memiliki kecepatan dalam teknis penggunaan namun tetap fashionable. Tas yang banyak digunakan oleh remaja yang masih menuntut ilmu saat ini belum bisa memenuhi kebutuhan dalam teknis yang cepat. Sehinga dirasa perlu adanya sebuah produk tas yang dapat secara cepat dan multifungsi dalam pemakaian sehingga tidak terjadinya kelupaan akan menutup tas. Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah membuat tas kanvas multifungsi yang bergaya casual yang dapat digunakan remaja yang kadang lupa akan menutup tas dengan memperhatikan perkembangan mode. Proses perkembangan tas kanvas multifungsi yang bergaya casual ini dimulai dengan memperhatikan remaja dengan melihat berbagai kesulitan dalam memakai tas. Tahap selanjutnya perancang membuat alternatif desain dalam bentuk sketsa manual , selanjutnya masuk ke penggambaran teknik, setelah desain terpilih langkah selanjutnya perancang melakukan studi material tas, membuat pola, dan dilanjutkan ke tahap produksi. Dengan perancangan tas kanvas multifungsi bergaya casual ini diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan remaja, khususnya dalam hal kemudahan ketika membawa dan teknis yang simpel untuk dipakai kemanapun.
