Abstract

This study aims to prove empirically the influence of Intellectual Capital, Good Corporate Governance, Firm Size and Leverage on Financial Distress. The population in this study is a wholesale and retail trade companies sector in 2015- 2017 which is listed on the Stock Exchange in 2018. Based on the purposive sampling method there are 22 final samples from this study. The hypothesis in this study will be tested using multiple regression analysis. Meanwhile, the data will be processed using the SPSS version 21 program. The results of this study show Intellectual Capital, Institutional Ownership, Firm Size have a significant positive effect on Financial Distress, Leverage has a significant negative on Financial Distress, while Audit Committee and Manajerial Ownership have no significant effect on Financial Distress. Keywords: Financial Distress, Intellectual Capital, Good Coporate Governanace, Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership, Firm Size and Leverage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh dari Intellectual Capital, Good Corporate Governance, dan Leverage terhadap Financial Distress. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan perusahaan perusahaan besar dan eceran period tahun 2015-2017 yang terdaftar di BEI. Berdasarkan metode purposive sampling terdapat 22 sample akhir dari penelitian ini. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini akan di uji menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Sedangkan, data akan diolah menggunakan program SPSS versi 21. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Intellectual Capital, Kepemilikan Institusional, dan Ukuran Perusahaan (Firm Size) memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap Financial Distress, Leverage memiliki pengaruh negatif secara signifikan terhadap Financial Distress, sedangkan Komite Audit dan Kepemilikan Manajerial tidak berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress. Kata kunci : Financial Distress, Intellectual Capital, Good Corporate Goverance, Kepemilikan Institusional, Kepemilikan Manajerial, Ukuran Perusahaan dan Leverage.
