Abstract
This study aims to measure the effect of training and work engagement on the performance of Mercu Buana University educational staff with Work Discipline as a mediating variable. The type of this research is a quantitative research. Analysis of the data used in this study using SEM where the data processing uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) version 3.2.7 program. The number of respondents who were sampled in this study were 80 educational staff at Mercu Buana University. The results of the analysis show that there are differences in results between direct and indirect effects, where the direct effect on the training variable shows a positive and significant effect on performance og educational staff, while the direct effect shows that training has no effect on performance if it is mediated by Work Discipline, besides the direct influence of the variable. work engagement on performance has no effect, while the indirect effect mediated by Work Discipline shows the results of work engagement have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Mercu Buana University educational staff. Keywords: Training, Employee Engagement, Work Discipline and Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh pelatihan dan work engagement terhadap kinerja tenaga kependidikan Universitas Mercu Buana dengan Work Discipline sebagai variabel mediasi. Adapun jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitaif. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SEM dimana dalam pengolahan datanya menggunakan program Partial Least Square (PLS) versi 3.2.7. Jumlah responden yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 80 orang tenaga kependidikan Universitas Mercu Buana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil antara pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung, dimana pengaruh langsung pada variabel pelatihan menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sedangkan pengaruh langsung menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja jika dimediasi oleh Work Discipline, selain itu pada pengaruh langsung variabel work engagement terhadap kinerja tidak memiliki pengaruh sedangkan pengaruh tidak langsung yang dimediasi oleh Work Discipline menujukkan hasil work engagement memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga kependidikan Universitas Mercu Buana Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Work Engagement, Work Discipline dan Kinerja
