Abstract
Employee performance is relatively good, but not in line with the organization's performance indicates there are problems within the organization. A series of data collected and observations in the field leads to a series of hypotheses that motivation, competence, and employee performance. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Competence and Motivation on Empployee Performance at BINUS CENTER Training Center. Research data is data that collect from Januari 2011 until December 2014. From a population of 50 of BINUS CENTER’s employee met the criteria to be the sample (census). The primary data obtained through an open and closed questionnaire. Data validated through Pearson Product-Moment, while for measuring the reliability using Cronbach Alpha method. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The independent variables in this model is the competence and motivation, while the dependent variable is the performance of employees. To determine the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable simultaneously used F test, whereas to determine the effect of partially used t test (t-test). The results showed competence and motivation together (simultaneously) significantly influence employee performance. Competence partially positive significant effect on employee performance. Motivation and a positive significant effect on employee performance. Keywords : Competency, Motivation, Employee Performance Kinerja karyawan yang relatif baik namun tidak sejalan dengan kinerja organisasi mengindikasikan ada permasalahan dalam organisasi. Serangkaian data yang dikumpulkan dan pengamatan di lapangan mengarah kepada serangkaian hipotesa yaitu motivasi, kompetensi, dan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan menganalisa pengaruh Kompetensi dan Motivasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di Lembaga Pelatihan BINUS CENTER. Data penelitian merupakan data yang dikumpulkan selama kurun waktu Januari 2011 sampai Desember 2014. Dari populasi 50 orang karyawan sudah memenuhi kriteria menjadi sample (sampel jenuh/sensus). Data primer diperoleh melalui kuesioner terbuka dan tertutup. Data divalidasi melalui Pearson Product-Moment, sedangkan untuk mengukur reliabilitasnya menggunakan metode Cronbach Alpha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen secara simultan digunakan uji F, sedangkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial digunakan uji t (t-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kompetensi dan Motivasi secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Secara parsial Kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Dan Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap Kinerja Karyawan.
