Abstract

Persaingan global mendorong Indonesia untuk memajukan perekonomian di bidang manufaktur dengan menerapkan manufaktur yang berkelanjutan. Perusahaan harus mempertimbangkan biaya transportasi dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan akibat peningkatan emisi emisi karbon. Emisi kegiatan transportasi menyebabkan perubahan iklim global dan kesehatan manusia. Pada saat yang sama efisiensi muatan truk, ruang kosong dalam kemasan dan material handling mengakibatkan peningkatan emisi karbon penambahan emisi CO2. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengurangi emisi CO2 dari kegiatan transportasi di Industri Manufaktur Otomotif. Metode yang digunakan adalah 8 step PDCA. Metode yang sistematis dan terstruktur mulai dari pendefinisian masalah hingga standarisasi perbaikan. Analisis penyebab masalah dan usulan perbaikan ditentukan melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Sumber data yang diperoleh berasal dari observasi lapangan, FGD, laporan perusahaan dari tahun 2019 hingga 2021. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap penyebab emisi karbon dan usulan perbaikan efisiensi truk dengan Regrouping atau konsolidasi transportasi berkontribusi sebesar 53% dan Milkrun optimization routing delivery berkontribusi sebesar 25%; material handling dengan grafitasi berkontribusi sebesar 1% dari total penurunan emisi. Total penurunan emisi karbon pada tahun 2021 sebesar 2,6% dibandingkan tahun 2020. Sebaliknya uji coba berdasarkan hasil uji coba CNG terjadi kenaikan 227% hal tersebut disebabkan karena ratio pemakaian bbm bio-solar lebih efisien daripada CNG dimana ratio pemakaian bio-solar 1:4,3 sedangan CNG hanya 1: 1,9 artinya 1 liter solar dapat menempuh 4,3 km sedangkan 1 liter CNG hanya menempuh 1,9 km. Hasil ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi kegiatan pengiriman di perusahaan automotif untuk meningkatkan kinerja penurunan emisi dan penghematan biaya. Companies must consider transportation costs and environmental concerns due to increased carbon emissions. Transport emissions cause climate change and human health. At the same time, the efficiency of truck loading, empty space in packaging and material handling results in increased carbon emissions in addition to CO2 emissions. The research aims to reduce CO2 emissions from transportation activities in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry. The method used is 8 step PDCA. A systematic and structured method from defining problems to standardizing improvements. Analysis of the causes of the problem and the fixes determined through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Sources of data obtained from field observations, FGDs, company reports from 2019 to 2021. The results of this study reveal the causes of carbon emissions and truck repair proposals with regrouping or transportation consolidation contributing 53% and Milkrun optimization routing delivery contributing 25%; material handling with gravity contributes 1% of the total emission reduction. The total reduction in carbon emissions in 2021 is 2.6% compared to 2020. On the contrary, based on the results of the CNG trial, there was an increase of 227%, this is because the ratio of the use of bio-diesel fuel is more efficient than CNG where the ratio of the use of bio-diesel is 1: 4.3 while CNG 1:1.9 means that 1 liter of diesel can travel 4.3 km while 1 liter of CNG only travels 1.9 km. These results can be used as a reference for delivery activities in automotive companies to increase emission and cost reductions.
