Abstract
The purposes of this research are to know 1) the influence of teacher competence to the teacher performance, 2) the influence work motivation to the teacher performance, and 3) the influence of teacher competence and work motivation to the teacher performance. The subjects of research were the teacher in SMA Sanggar 05 Jakarta Utara. The data collected by the questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The result of research was indicate: 1) the teacher competence influence by positively and significantly to the teacher performance by the score t- count > t- table, 2) work motivation influence by positively and significantly to the teacher by the score t-count > t- table , 3) teacher competence and work motivation influential to the teacher performance by the score F- count > F- table 4). Based the condition which was happen in the field, this research generate recommendations for improvement of future work related to teacher competence, work motivation and teacher performance. Key word: teacher performance, teacher competence, work motivation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru, 2) pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru, dan 3) pengaruh kompetensi guru dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Subjek penelitian adalah guru-guru SMA Sanggar 05 Jakarta Utara sebanyak 87 orang. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah kinerja guru SMA Sanggar 05 Jakarta Utara. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) kompetensi guru berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai t-hitung > t-tabel, 2) motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai t- hitung > t-tabel, 3) kompetensi guru dan motivasi kerja secara bersama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai F-hitung > F-tabel, 4) Berdasarkan kondisi yang terjadi dilapangan, penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan pekerjaan di masa depan yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi guru, motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru.
