Abstract

Every company in carrying out its activities must be directed in achieving the objectives. In general, the purpose of the creation of a company is to make maximum profit (profit oriented). The profits gained are an indicator of the company's success and keep the company's life sustainable. This research is intended to test leverage influence, inventory turnover, receivables turnover and receivables collection period against profitability Food and beverage industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. The research was conducted on all the food and beverage industries listed on the Indoneia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2014 — 2018, with 13 companies. Sample determination method is based on the annual financial report of food and beverage industry Company. The results of the research obtained in this study are (1) there is a significant negative influence of the variable leverage on profitability; (2) There are positive and significant influences from the inventory turnover variable to the company's profitability; (3) There is a positive and insignificant influence of the variables of receivables turnover against the profitability of the company; (4) There are negative and insignificant influences from the variables of the Receivables collection period to the profitability of the company. Keywords: DER, Inventory Turnover, Receivables Turnover, ACP, Profitabilitas Setiap perusahaan dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya pasti diarahkan di dalam pencapaian tujuan. Pada umumnya, tujuan dari dibuatnya sebuah perusahaan tentu untuk menghasilkan keuntungan secara maksimal (profit oriented). Keuntungan yang diperoleh merupakan indikator keberhasilan perusahaan dan menjaga keberlangsungan hidup perusahaan. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguji pengaruh leverage, perputaran persediaan, perputaran piutang dan periode pengumpulan piutang terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan industri makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2014-2018. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap seluruh industri makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indoneia (BEI) dari tahun 2014—2018 yaitu sebanyak 13 perusahaan. Metode penentuan sampel dilakukan berdasarkan laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan industry makanan dan minuman. Hasil penelitian yang didapat dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat pengaruh negative yang signifikan dari variabel leverage terhadap profitabilitas; (2) terdapat pengaruh positive dan signifikan dari variabel perputaran persediaan terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan; (3) terdapat pengaruh positive dan tidak signifikan dari variabel perputaran piutang terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan; (4) terdapat pengaruh negative dan tidak signifikan dari variabel periode pengumpulan piutang terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan.
