Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the effect of profits, cash flow and leverage on financial distress. The population in this research is the telecommunication sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2011 to 2018. Sampling is conducted based on saturation sampling methods to obtain a sample of four companies. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis with fixed effect models using the return of assets, the ratio of cash flows to current liabilities and debt ratio. The results show that cash flow and leverage have no effect on financial distress. Profit is the only variable that has an influence on inancial distress. Keywords : Profit, Cas Flow, Leverage, Financial Distress Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh laba, arus kas dan leverage terhadap financial distress. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah sub sektor telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2011-2018. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan berdasarkan metode sampling jenuh, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 4 perusahaan.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan model fixed effect dengan menggunakan return of assets, rasio arus kas terhadap kewajiban lancar dan debt ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa arus kas dan leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. Laba menjadi satu-satunya variabel yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap financial distress.
