Abstract

Persatuan merupakan hal yang begitu penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Sebab dengan persatuan, tujuan suatu kelompok akan tercapai. Persatuan Maluku salah satunya. Adalah Gatra dan Tempo yang mengonstruksi persatuan Maluku namun melalui alat musik tradisional, suling bambu Maluku. Melalui paradigma kritis, metode yang digunakan adalah analisis wacana melalui artikel kedua majalah, yaitu Astakona dari Gatra dan Selingan dari Tempo. Paradigma kritis yang digunakan adalah paradigma kritis analisis wacana Norman Fairclough, yaitu paradigma yang melihat sesuatu di balik pemberitaan kedua media massa mengenai persatuan Maluku dengan representasi berupa alat musik tradisional yang sangat langka. Persatuan Maluku melalui alat musik dianggap sebagai persatuan yang unik sebab persatuan demikian sangat langka. Baik Gatra maupun Tempo dalam penyajian menggunakan bahasa yang berbeda satu sama lain tetapi tetap mendukung keberagaman di Maluku. Dari perbedaan bahasa ini terlihat jelas ideologi yang dianut kedua media massa. Bila dirunut dari sejarah kedua media massa mempunyai akar pertalian keredaksian yang cukup jelas meskipun berbeda dalam banyak hal. Penelitian dengan paradigma kritis ini tentu berupaya membongkar konstruksi media massa dalam pemberitaan. Kata kunci: kritis, analisis wacana, representasi, musik, The unity as an important element in human life. By the unity a group would get a goal. The unity of Moluccas is one of the unity Gatra and Tempo had constructed the unity of Moluccas by a traditional music tool, suling bambu Maluku. By critical paradigm, the method which be used is discourage analysis by the articles from both of the magazines. They are Astakona from Gatra and Selingan from Tempo. The critical paradigm which be used is critical discourage analysis from Norman Fairclough. The paradigm looks behind from the coverage both of mass media about the unity of Moluccas by the representation of the exticnt traditional music tool. The unity of Moluccas by the traditional music tool is considered uniquely because it is a rarely unity. Either Gatra or Tempo uses different languages but support a diversity in Moluccas for the content. By the different the ideologies sight clearly. Traced back to history of the both of them, they have a redactional tie root although they are different.
