Abstract
Jakarta as the capital and financial centre of Indonesia sets itself as the destination of dreams, where people from various cities come to look for better fortune. The rapid increase of population each year grows in parallel with the high demand of living spaces; resulting in even scarcer lot available. This leads to various problems such as multiplications of "the slums" or the less undeveloped areas which are inhabited by the poor, lower income people. The unruly and disorganized appearance of these slums in turn make the scenery of Jakarta less than picturesque, dirty and distasteful. The aim of this dissertation project is to create a solution for the increasing dense population of Jakarta, while also providing a better standard of living with the integration of energy efficient building system and sustainable architecture. The proposed Flat (Rusunami) that will be designed in this assignment is located at Cakung Barat II, East Jakarta Administrative City; with the theme of "Low-cost Housing for Community Based on Energy-efficient Building and Sustainable Architecture". Keywords: Flats, Energy Saving Architecture, Green Architecture Kota Jakarta sebagai ibukota negara dan pusat perekonomian Indonesia menjadikan Jakarta sebagai tujuan untuk memperbaiki perekonomian seseorang. Tingkat pertumbuhan penduduk di kota Jakarta yang setiap tahun terus bertambah yang mengakibatkan naiknya tingkat kepadatan penduduk yang imbasnya lahan di kota Jakarta semakin berkurang. Hal ini menimbulkan berbagai macam permasalahan sebuah kota yang tidak teratur yang mengakibatkan menjamurnya permukiman kumuh yang menjadikan Jakarta tidak indah, tidak bersih dan zona - zona permukiman yang tidak teratur. Pada tugas akhir ini, hasil rancangannya diminta untuk membuat sebuah hunian rusun yang bisa menjawab semua permasalahan kepadatan penduduk kota Jakarta yang kumuh dan tidak teratur menjadi hunian yang layak dan memiliki standar hidup yang baik dengan konsep bangunan hemat energi, serta arsitektur yang berkelanjutan. Rumah Susun Sederhana Milik (Rusunami) yang akan dirancangan dalam tugas akhir ini berada di Cakung Barat II Kota Administrasi Jakarta Timur dengan tema Hunian murah untuk masyarakat yang berbasiskan bangunan hemat energi dan arsitektur yang berkelanjutan.
