Abstract
Leadership style is a way of giving direction, applying strategy and motivating individuals to achieve desired goals. In addition to an effective leadership style, the climate of organizational communication is also important in an organization. In addition to leadership styles, and the climate of organizational communication, another thing that can not be released in an organization is the performance of employees. This research was conducted to find out how far the influence of leadership style and communication climate in an organization on employee performance in PT Adena Langit Perkasa regional Bali. This research uses quantitative method of survey explanation. Based on the research that has been done, the result is that there is a significant positive influence between authoritarian leadership style on employee performance, there is a significant positive influence between participative leadership style on employee performance and there is no significant positive influence between the democratic leadership style on employee performance. Furthermore, there is a significant positive influence between the Climate of Organization Communication on employee performance. This means that the higher the climatic communication organization the more supportive of better employee performance. The result of F significance of 0.010 is smaller than 0.05 indicates that the relationship between the independent variables of the authoritarian leadership style and the climate of organizational communication together affects the employee performance variable significantly. The result of significance F of 0.012 smaller than 0.05 indicates that the relationship between the independent variables of participative leadership style and organizational communication climate together significantly affect the employee performance variable. The result of F significance of 0.090, greater than 0.05 indicates that the relationship between the independent variables of the democratic leadership style and the climate of organizational communication together does not significantly affect the employee performance variable. Keywords: leadership style, organizational communication climate, employee performance Gaya kepemimpinan merupakan cara memberikan arahan, menerapkan strategi dan memotivasi individu untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Selain gaya kepemimpinan yang efektif, iklim komunikasi organisasi juga merupakan hal yang penting dalam sebuah organisasi. Selain gaya kepemimpinan, dan iklim komunikasi organisasi, hal lain yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dalam suatu organisasi adalah kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan iklim komunikasi dalam suatu organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Adena Langit Perkasa regional Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksplanasi survei. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil yaitu terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan otoriter terhadap kinerja karyawan, terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif terhadap kinerja karyawan dan tidak terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selanjutnya, terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara Iklim Komunikasi Organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Artinya semakin tinggi iklim komunikasi organisasi maka semakin mendukung kinerja karyawan semakin baik. Hasil signifikansi F sebesar 0.010 lebih kecil dari 0,05 ini menunjukan bahwa hubungan antara variabel- variabel bebas yaitu gaya kepemimpinan otoriter dan iklim komunikasi organisasi bersama-sama mempengaruhi variabel kinerja karyawan secara signifikan. Hasil signifikansi F sebesar 0.012 lebih kecil dari 0,05 ini menunjukan bahwa hubungan antara variabel-variabel bebas yaitu gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif dan iklim komunikasi organisasi bersama-sama mempengaruhi variabel kinerja karyawan secara signifikan.
