Abstract

Technological development and communication making information to be a crucial aspect in the social life. This gives rise to the community in this era started racing-race looking for the proper information to meet their needs masing-masing.When this social media used to take the information quickly one of them instagram account @jktinfo. An account @jktinfo in presenting information from the citizen journalism or an ordinary citizen. To research it using Uses and Gratification Theory. This theory are one of the most popular theory in study mass communication. The theory is supported by the concept like New Media, Media Massa, Intsagram, Satisfaction and Society Refer from the background, so this study attempts to answer question, research on how people satisfaction to account Instagram @jktinfo? this research is the descriptive, quantitative methods used are survey. The technique used is purposive sampling with 61 respondents. Data collection method used primary data of the survey and secondary. The result of this research is the level of satisfaction with instagram account @ jktinfo earn as much 51 % which means shows that instagram account @ jktinfo categorized “SATISFIED” Keyword: Satisfaction, Instagram, @jktinfo Perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi membuat informasi menjadi aspek yang sangat krusial dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Hal in menimbulkan masyarakat di era ini mulai berlomba-lomba mencari informasi yang tepat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mereka masing-masing. Saat ini media Sosial digunakan untuk mencari informasi yang cepat salah satunya akun Instagram @jktinfo. Akun @jktinfo secara menyajikan informasi dari citizen journalism atau warga biasa. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Uses and Gratification. Teori penggunaan dan kepuasan disebut-sebut sebagai salah satu teori paling popular dalam studi komunikasi massa. Selain teori diatas didukung dengan konsep seperti New Media, Media Massa, Instagram, Kepuasan dan Khalayak. Merujuk dari latar belakang tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian, yaitu bagaimana kepuasan khalayak terhadap akun Instagram @jktinfo?Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode yang digunakan adalah survei. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik Purposive Sampling, dengan jumlah responden 61 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah data primer berupa angket dan sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tingkat kepuasaan terhadap akun instagram @jktinfo memperoleh sebanyak 51% yang berarti menunjukkan bahwa akun Instagram @jktinfo di kategorikan “PUAS”.
