Abstract

In this study the author visualizes how a traditional dance art that used to be prohibited from doing the dance but now it is a pride even made a tourism icon in the Banyuwangi fog. This research uses the concept of cinematography as applied science is a field of science that discusses the technique of capturing images. Taking pictures using cinematic elements and shots that produce meaning. The cinematic element of the writer uses it to spoil the eyes of the audience so that they will continue to enjoy this documentary. While the element of shot that produces meaning in taking pictures according to the writer means giving a visual experience to the audience. The stages in the making of the documentary "Pesona Gandrung Dance" use the stages of Pre Production, Production, and Post Production as a stylist who is responsible for all technical aspects of image recording. Cameramen must ensure that no mistakes are made when taking pictures. And must ensure taking sharp pictures (focus), the composition of the image (framing) the right, setting the level or the appropriate sound level, color images that match the original color (natural) and must get the best picture. Keywords: Documentary Films, Enchantment of Gandrung Dance,cameraman Dalam penelitian ini penulis memvisualisasikan bagaimana sebuah kesenian tari tradisional yang dulunya banyaknya larangan untuk melakukan tarian tersebut namun saat ini malah menjadi sebuah kebanggaan bahkan di jadikan icon pariwisata di kabutapen Banyuwangi. Penilitian ini menggunakan konsep sinematografi sebagai ilmu terapan merupakan bidang ilmu yang membahas tentang teknik menangkap gambar. Pengambilan gambar menggunakan unsur sinematik dan shot-shot yang menghasilkan makna. Unsur sinematik pennulis gunakan untuk memanjakan mata penonton agar tetap menikmati film dokumenter ini. Sedang kan unsur shot yang menghasilkan makna dalam pengambilan gambar menurut penulis bermakna memberikan pengalaman visual kepada penonton. Proses tahapan dalam pembuatan dokumenter “Pesona Tari Gandrung” menggunakan tahapan Pra Produksi, Produksi, serta Pasca Produksi sebagai penata gambar yaitu orang yang bertanggung jawab untuk semua aspek teknis perekaman gambar. Juru kamera yang harus memastikan bahwa tidak ada kesalahan yang dilakukan saat mengambil gambar. Dan harus memastikan mengambil gambar tajam (fokus), komposisi gambar (framing) yang tepat, pengaturan level atau tingkat suara yang sesuai, gambar warna yang sesuai dengan warna aslinya (alam) dan harus mendapatkan gambar yang terbaik.
