Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between Gratitude and WorkLife Balance with Happiness in Mercu Buana Menteng University employee class students in Jakarta. This research involved 357 students of Mercu Buana Menteng University Jakarta employee class. Three measuring instruments used to prove the hypothesis namely, Happiness Scale by Selligman consists of 12 items, Gratitude Scale by McCullough consists of 5 items and Work-Life Balance by Fisher which consists of 17 items. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between Gratitude and Happiness and there is a significant relationship between Work-Life Balance and Happiness. Key Words: Gratitude, Work-Life Balance, Happiness Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara Gratitude dan WorkiLife Balance dengan Happiness pada mahasiswa kelas karyawan Universitas Mercu Buana Menteng Jakarta. Penelitian ini melibatkan 357 mahasiswa kelas karyawan Universitas Mercu Buana Menteng Jakarta. Tiga alat ukur yang digunakan untuk membuktikan hipotesa yaitu, Happiness Scale oleh Selligman terdiri 12 item, Gratitude Scale oleh McCullough terdiri 5 item dan Work-Life Balance oleh Fisher yang terdiri 17 item. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Gratitude dengan Happiness dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Work-Life Balance dengan Happiness. Kata Kunci: Gratitude, Work-Life Balance, Happiness.
