Abstract

Sleman Regency is part of the Special Region of Yokyakarta, Sleman Regency is an area with an area of 57,482 Ha or 574.82 Km2 or about 18% of the area of the Special Province of Yogyakarta 3,185.80 Km2, with the farthest distance North - South 32 Km, East - West 35 km. Administratively, it consists of 17 subdistricts, 86 villages, and 1,212 hamlets. According to Deal and Kennedy (in Darojat, 2015: 09) culture is a pattern of integrity of human behavior including thoughts, speech, actions and artifacts and depends on the capacity of people to listen, and pass knowledge on to future generations. Tourism in Sleman Regency has considerable potential to be developed and can provide social, cultural and economic benefits to local governments and communities. Culture is the result of the work of a group of people in a certain area which is a characteristic or distinctive identity, either in the form of handicrafts or in the form of traditional or customary activities. The Vernacular Architecture theme is an obligation for the design of the Sleman Regency Cultural Park building. Vernacular architecture is influenced by many different aspects, from human behavior to environmental conditions, which make the shape of the building vary depending on its function. Keywords: Cultural Park, Sleman Regency, Vernacular Architecture Kabupaten Sleman adalah bagian dari Daerh Istimewa Yokyakarta, Kabupaten Sleman merupakan daerah dengan Luas Wilayah 57.482 Ha atau 574,82 Km2 atau sekitar 18% dari luas Propinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 3.185,80 Km2,dengan jarak terjauh Utara – Selatan 32 Km,Timur – Barat 35 Km. Secara administratif terdiri 17 wilayah Kecamatan, 86 Desa, dan 1.212 Dusun. Menurut Deal dan Kennedy ( dalam Darojat, 2015:09 ) budaya adalah pola integritas dari prilaku manusia termaksuk pikiran, pembicaraan, tindakan dan artifak serta tergantung pada kapasitas orang untuk menyimak, dan meneruskan pengetahuan kepada generasi penerus. Pariwisata di Kabupaten Sleman memiliki potensi yang cukup besar untuk dikembangkan dan dapat memberikan manfaat sosial, budaya dan ekonomi kepada pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat. Kebudayaan adalah suatu hasil karya dari sekelompok manusia di daerah tertentu yang menjadi ciri atau identitas sendiri yang khas baik berupa kerajinan tangan maupun berupa kegiatan adat atau kebiasaan. Tema Arsitektur Vernakuler menjadi kewajiban untuk perancangan bangunan Taman budaya Kabupaten Sleman. Arsitektur vernakular dipengaruhi oleh berbagai aspek berbeda, mulai dari perilaku manusia hingga kondisi lingkungan, yang membuat bentuk bangunan menjadi berbeda-beda tergantung fungsinya.
