Abstract

Pada era Pandemi Covid-19 saat ini, peningkatan kinerja karyawan sangat penting bagi setiap perusahaan, terutama yang bergerak dibidang industri perbankan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasional, persepsi dukungan organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan generasi milenial melalui employee engagement sebagai variable intervening. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kausal. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT Bank DKI Klaster Balaikota dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 146 responden yang didapatkan dari rumus slovin. Teknik pengambilan sample non probability dengan purposive sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukan komitmen organisasional berpengaruh terhadap persepsi dukungan organisasi, employee engagement dan kinerja karyawan. Persepsi dukungan organisasi berpengaruh terhadap employee engagement dan kinerja karyawan. Employee engagement berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. PT Bank DKI Klaster Balaikota dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dengan mengevaluasi tingkat partisipasi karyawan dalam setiap aktivitas perusahaan dan memberikan nilai tambah atas partisipasi tersebut. Atasan dapat memberikan arahan/strategi yang jelas dan memberikan semangat/motivasi secara mental kepada karyawan, sehingga karyawan dapat merasakan kepedulian perusahaan terhadap dirinya dan melakukan program promosi untuk meningkatkan employee engagement. Hal ini akan memberikan energi tersendiri bagi karyawan dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya, sehingga dapat memberikan dampak yang baik terhadap kinerja. This research aimed to determain the effect on organizational commitment, perceived organizational support of the millennial employee performance through employee engagement as an intervening variable. This research used quantitative methods with a causal research design. The population of this research were all employees of PT Bank DKI City Hall cluster, with a total sample of 146 respondents obtained from the slovin formula. Non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. Data analysis method used Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of the research show that organizational commitment affects perceived organizational support, employee engagement, and employee performance. Perceived organizational support affect employee engagement and employee performance. Employee engagement has an effect on employee performance. PT Bank DKI Cluster Balaikota can improve employee performance by increasing employee participation in every company activity and providing added value for this participation. Supervisor can provide clear directions or strategies and provide mental enthusiasm/motivation to employees, so that employees can feel concern for the company towards themselves and carry out promotional programs to increase employee engagement. This will provide its own energy for employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, so that they can have a good impact on their performance.
