Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk. The population and sample in this study are the financial statements of PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk 2016-2018 period. The research design used is quantitative descriptive research. The method or data collection technique used is the document study technique. The data analysis method uses descriptive statistics. The results of the study can show: 1) the development of net profit margins, 2) the development of total asset turnover, 3) the development of return on investment, and 4) the company's ability to generate added value. Based on the calculation of the net profit margin, PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk has decreased every year. Where in 2016 the net profit margin was 4,37%, decreased to 4,35% in 2017 and again decreased in 2018 to (9,01)%. Based on the calculation of total asset turnover, PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk experienced fluctuations, namely in 2016 by 0,57 times, an increase to 0,59 times in 2017 and decreased to 0,44 times in 2018. Based on the results of the calculation of Return on investment, PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk experienced fluctuations, where in 2016 the value of ROI was 2,51%, increased to 2,57% in 2017 and decreased to (3,92)% in 2018. Based on the results of Economic Value Added (EVA) calculations, PT. Indosat Ooredoo experiences a negative value in every research year. EVA value <0 where the company's financial performance has not been able to provide added value to corporate funders. Keywords: Net Profit Margin, Total Asset Turnover, Return On Investment, Du Pont System, Economic Value Added (EVA) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan dari PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah laporan keuangan PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk periode 2016-2018. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode atau Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik studi dokumen. Metode analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dapat menunjukkan : 1) perkembangan net profit margin, 2) perkembangan total asset turnover, 3) perkembangan return on investment, dan 4) kemampuan perusahaan dalam menghasilkan nilai tambah. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Net profit margin, PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk mengalami penurunan setiap tahunnya. Dimana pada tahun 2016 net profit margin sebesar 4,37%, mengalami penurunan menjadi 4,35% pada tahun 2017 dan kembali mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2018 menjadi (9,01)%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Total asset turnover, PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk mengalami fluktuasi, yaitu pada tahun 2016 sebesar 0,57 kali, mengalami kenaikan menjadi 0,59 kali pada tahun 2017 dan mengalami penurunan menjadi 0,44 kali pada tahun 2018. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Return on investment, PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk mengalami fluktuasi, dimana pada tahun 2016 nilai ROI sebesar 2,51%, mengalami kenaikan menjadi 2,57% pada tahun 2017 dan mengalami penurunan menjadi (3,92)% pada tahun 2018. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Economic Value Added (EVA), PT. Indosat Ooredoo mengalami nilai yang negatif pada setiap tahun penelitian. Nilai EVA < 0 dimana kinerja keuangan perusahaan belum mampu memberikan nilai tambah terhadap penyandang dana perusahaan.
