Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan kota selalu diikuti dengan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk yang mengakibatkan semakin bertambah pula tuntutan akan penyediaan fasilitas kota yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat penghuninya (Hermanto, 2008). Kesehatan sangat erat hubungannya dengan masyarakat. Maka dari itu tuntutan kebutuhan akan fasilitas kesehatan di daerah Kota Tangerang sangat besar. Untuk memenuhi tuntutan kebutuhan masyarakat akan pelayanan yang lebih baik dan bermutu dalam bidang kesehatan maka sangat diperlukan fasilitas kesehatan yang baik. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka dimulai dari bidang pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan yaitu ilmu kedokteran, keperawatan, kebidanan, dan lainnya. Pendidikan kedokteran, sebagai salah satu bidang yang berperan dalam pemenuhan tenaga medis di rumah sakit, memerlukan adanya fasilitas rumah sakit yang sekaligus dapat menjadi lokasi pendidikan, sehingga dibutuhkan adanya rumah sakit pendidikan. Dewasa ini, bangunan Rumah Sakit selain didisain untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan fungsi akan fasilitas kesehatan, juga dirancang dengan konsep sustainable development. Sustainable development merupakan sebuah upaya pembangunan yang meliputi aspek ekonomi, sosial, lingkungan bahkan budaya untuk kebutuhan masa kini tetapi tidak mengorbankan atau mengurangi kebutuhan generasi yang akan datang. Dalam hal ini peran arsitek sangat diperlukan dan memiliki peranan penting dalam mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Fasilitas Kesehatan, Rumah Sakit, Rumah Sakit Pendidikan, Sustainable Development, Lingkungan. To meet its demands needs for better service and excellent in health facilities and indispensable good health. To achieve this aim then started from education pertaining to health and medical science, nursing, obstetrics, and other. Medical education, as one sectors role in fulfilling the medical personnel in hospital, requiring the hospital facilities and can the education, so it needs the hospital education. Now, a hospital building besides designed to meet the needs and their function is health facilities, also designed to the concept of sustainable development. Sustainable development is a reconstruction which includes the economic aspect, social, environmental and cultural to the needs of today but not compromising or reduce the need for generations.
