Abstract

In the era of the global economic community companies have a minimum standard for recruiting prospective workers by applying a high classification of all job applicants who register, this is because companies have good Human Resourch to be able to compete with other companies, one the factor that makes it difficult for new graduates to get a job is the lack of understanding of graduates of some skills and basic competencies (Employability Skills) that must be needed by each graduate. Employability skills is one of the most important things to be owned by everyone, which each person must have the skills to solve each problem and have the resilience to deal with it all, based on this, research is conducted to find out the relationship between Employability skills and Resilience by using sampling techniques by distributing questionnaires to students at the Mercu Buana University. Based on the results of the correlation test in this study using correlation Spearmen analysis with the help of the SPSS statistical 22 for windows application, the correlation value obtained was 0.759 with a significant value of 0,000. With the existing significance provisions, the significance value of the data 0,000 <0,05. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Resilience and Employability Skills for final year students at Mercu Buana University. This means that the higher the value of Resilience, the higher the value of Employability Skills for final-year students at Mercu Buana University. Key word: Resiliensi, Employability Skill, Student and Employee Di era masyarakat ekonomi global perusahaan – perusahaan yang ada memiliki standar minimum untuk merekrut calon pekerjanya dengan menerapkan klasifikasi tinggi terhadap semua pelamar kerja yang mendaftar, hal ini dikarenakan agar perusahaan – perusahaan yang ada mendapatkan SDM yang baik agar mampu bersaing dengan perusahaan lain, Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan para lulusan baru sulit mendapt pekerjaan adalah kurangnya pemahaman lulusan terhadap beberapa kecakapan maupun kompetensi dasar (Employability Skills) yang harus dibutuhkan oleh setiap lulusan yang ada. Employability skills merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting untuk dimiliki oleh setiap orang, yang mana setiap orang harus mempunyai skill dalam menyelesaikan setiap masalahnya dan memiliki ketahanan untuk menghadapai itu semua, berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dilakukanlah penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan Employability skills dengan Resiliensi, dengan menggunkan teknik sampling dengan penyebaran kuesioner ke mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi Spearmen dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS statistic 22 for windows, nilai korelasi yang didapat sebesar 0,759 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000. Dengan ketentuan signifikansi yang ada, nilai signifikansi data yakni 0,000 < 0,05.dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Resiliensi dengan Employability Skills pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Mercu Buana. Artinya semakin tinggi nilai Resiliensi, maka semakin tinggi nilai Employability Skills pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Mercu Buana.
