Abstract

Jig and Fixture is a tool for the production of workpieces that are used in the working of components accurately and in bulk. In this report Jigs and fixture are used for machining the hydraulic piston product machining process. The purpose of this jig and fixture design is to help production equipment to operate quickly and accurately and minimize production failure. The working principle of this jig and fixture is after the product is mounted on a jig and set on the CNC Lathe 2 axis machine, the machine will process facing the surface then the outer flat process, booring and making seal grooves. These jig and fixture design methods, namely: determination of work principles, design of 3D designs using 2014 solidwork software, process jig manufacturing analysts and machining process simulations. A jig design model for the hydraulic piston product machining process has been obtained. The results of the analysis of machining process calculation time for jig making are 13 minutes 26 seconds. And obtained from the simulation results for the Jig making machining process that is 13 minutes 26 seconds. from the results of the manufacture of piston products using Jigs produced good quality products. Size uniformity is achieved in the production of hydraulic piston. Keywords: design, jig and fixture, 2 axis cnc lathe, solidwork2014,mazatrol smart Jig and Fixture adalah alat pemegang benda kerja produksi yang digunakan dalam pengerjaaan komponen secara akurat dan massal. Dalam laporan ini Jig dan fixture dipakai untuk jig proses machining produk piston hidrolik.Tujuan desain jig and fixture ini yaitu untuk membantu alat produksi agar dapat beroperasi dengan cepat serta akurat dan meminimalisir kegagalan produksi.Prinsip kerja jig and fixture ini adalah setelah produk dipasang pada jig dan di setting di mesin cnc Bubut 2 axis maka mesin akan melakukan proses facing permukaan kemudian proses rata luar, booring dan membuat alur seal . Metode desain jig and fixture ini, yaitu: penentuan prinsip kerja, perancangan 3D desain menggunakan software solidwork 2014,analis proses pembuatan jig dan Simulasi Proses machining. Telah diperoleh model desain jig untuk proses machining produk piston hidrolic. Hasil dari analisa perhitungan waktu proses machining untuk pembuatan jig adalah 13 menit 27 detik. Dan Diperoleh hasil dari simulasi untuk proses machining pembuatan Jig yaitu 13 menit 26 detik. dari hasil pembuatan produk piston dengan menggunakan Jig dihasilkan kualitas produk yang bagus. Tercapai keseragaman ukuran pada hasil produksi piston hidrolic. Kata Kunci : desain,jig and fixture,cnc bubut 2 axis,solidwork2014,mazatrol smart
