Abstract
Employability Skills are a set of achievements consisting of skills, understanding and personal attributes that make individuals more likely to secure and become successful in the work they choose. The purpose of this study was to validate the measurement of Employability Skills Psychology. This study used a quantitative approach with Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) method involving 206 respondents Psychology Students, Mercu Buana University. The specification measurements used as a reference in the development of this measurement are SCANS (1992), The Conference Board of Canada (1992), Robinson (2000), Rosenberg (2012), Cotton (1993), Hamid (2014) which produced 87 questionnaire items. The results of the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) test showed 27 items grouped against 5 factors and the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) test produced 16 items which showed if the measurement model was fit, valid, and reliable (CR = 0.81) with 3 factors namely Basic Academic, Thinking Skills, and Personal Qualities. The test results in this study prove that the measuring of Employability Skills Psychology meets the unidimensional assumptions and criteria of a measurement model that is fit. Employability Skills merupakan seperangkat pencapaian yang terdiri dari keterampilan, pemahaman dan atribut pribadi yang membuat individu lebih mungkin untuk mengamankan dan menjadi sukses dalam pekerjaan yang dipilihnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memvalidasi pengukuran Employability Skills Psikologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penedekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Analisis Faktor Eksploratori (EFA) dan Analisa Faktor Konfirmatori (CFA) yang melibatkan 206 responden Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi, Universitas Mercu Buana. Spesifikasi alat ukur yang digunakan sebagai acuan dalam pengembangan alat ukur ini adalah SCANS (1992), The Conference Board of Canada (1992), Robinson (2000), Rosenberg (2012), Cotton (1993), Hamid (2014) yang menghasilkan 87 item kuesioner. Hasil pengujian Analisis Faktor Eksploratori (EFA) menunjukan 27 item yang saling berkelompok terhadap 5 faktor dan pengujian Analisis Faktor Konfirmatori (CFA) menghasilkan 16 item yang menunjukan jika model pengukuran fit, valid, dan reliabel (CR = 0.81) dengan 3 faktor yaitu Basic Academic, Thinking Skills, Personal Qualities. Hasil pengujian dalam penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa alat ukur Employability Skills Psikologi memenuhi asumsi unidimensional dan kriteria model pengukuran yang fit.
