Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, capital structure, independent board of commissioners, and board of directors on firm value in coal mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The independent variables in this study are profitability, capital structure, independent board of commissioners, and board of directors. While the dependent variable is firm value. The research design is a causal research. The population of this research is the coal mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a population of 14 in a period of 4 (four) years. The data collection technique used in this research is the archival data collection technique. Based on the research results, it shows that the variable profitability and the board of commissioners have no effect on firm value. Meanwhile, the variables of capital structure and board of directors have an effect on firm value. Keywords: Profitability, Capital Structure, Independent Commissioner Board, Board of Directors, Company Value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas,struktur modal, dewan komisaris independen, dan dewan direksi terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor pertambangan batubara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah profitabilitas, struktur modal, dewan komisaris independen, dan dewan direksi. Sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah nilai perusahaan. Desain penelitian adalah penelitian kausal. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor pertambangan batubara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan jumlah 14 populasi dalam jangka waktu 4 (empat) tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik pengumpulan data arsip. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel profitabilitas dan dewan komisaris tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan variabel struktur modal dan dewan direksi berpengarh terhadap nilai perusahaan Kata Kunci : Profitabilitas, Struktur Modal, Dewan Komisaris Independen, Dewan Direksi, Nilai Perusahaan
