Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinant factors of profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia as seen from financial ratios. In this study, factors taken include Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Profitability in the proxy of Return on Assets (ROA). The data used in this study were obtained from the financial statement of each bank. The sample comes from twelve Islamic public banks registered in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the period from 2014 to 2018. Based on the purposive sampling method, the total research sample is 60 audited annual reports. This research uses multiple regression analysis. The results showed that CAR did not affect ROA; NPF has a significant negative effect on ROA; FDR has a significant positive effect on ROA. Keywords : Return on Asset, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Financing, Financing to Deposit Ratio Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penentu profitabilitas bank umum syariah di Indonesia dilihat dari rasio keuangan. Dalam penelitian ini, faktor yang diambil adalah Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) dan Profitabilitas proksikan dengan Return on Asset (ROA). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari laporan keuangan masing-masing bank. Sampel berasal dari dua belas bank umum Islam terdaftar dengan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) untuk periode 2014-2018. Berdasarkan metode purposive sampling, total sampel penelitian adalah 60 laporan tahunan yang diaudit. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CAR tidak mempengaruhi ROA; NPF memiliki efek negatif yang signifikan terhadap ROA; FDR memiliki efek positif yang signifikan terhadap ROA.
