Abstract

Abstrak Judul: Analisis Komparasi Air Limbah Produksi Beton Ready-Mix Dengan Air Tanah Sebagai Campuran Beton Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton (Studi Kasus: PT. Wika BetonSIS Cimanggis), Pembimbing: Prof.Dr.Ir.Drs.Syafwandi, M.Sc., Penulis: Agung Wahana Shaputra, NIM: 41114210004. 2018. Kegiatan produksi beton menghasilkan limbah, salah satunya adalah air limbah yang mengandung pH tingg dan terdapat kandungan kimia. Air limbah tersebut mengarah kepada pencemaran lingkungan. Di negara maju, biasanya melarang pembuangan jenis air seperti itu, harus dirawat sebelum dibuang. Dalam penelitian ini, penggunaan air limbah sisa produksi beton ready-mix yang berasal dari batching plant PT. Wika BetonSIS Cimanggis dibandingkan dengan air tanah PT. Wika Beton-SIS Cimanggis dengan variasi persentase air limbah 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% dan 100%. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimental. Uji yang dilakukan yaitu, uji slump untuk mengetahui workability dan kuat tekan pada umur 7 hari dan 28 hari. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa hasil slump mengalami penurunan berbanding lurus dengan makin banyaknya persentase air limbah, begitu juga pada hasil kuat tekan menunjukkan penurunan seiring dengan makin banyaknya jumlah pesentase air limbah. Kejadian ini karena jumlah kadar kimia air limbah parameter klorida dan sulfat lebih besar dibandingkan hasil air tanah. Hasil dari penelitian ini dengan persentase air limbah 100% dengan hasil kuat tekan sebesar 23,402 MPa umunya dapat digunakan untuk, beton bertulang seperti plat lantai jembatan, diafragma, gorong-gorong beton bertulang, dan sebagainya. Concrete production activities produce waste, one of which is waste water containing high pH and chemical content. The waste water leads to environmental pollution. In developed countries, it is usually prohibited to discharge such types of water, must be treated before being disposed of. In this study, the use of wastewater from ready-mix concrete production from the batching plant of PT. Wika Beton-SIS Cimanggis compared to groundwater of PT. Wika Beton-SIS Cimanggis with variations of waste water 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. The method used in this study is experimental. The test are, slump test to determine the workability and compressive strength at the age of 7 days and 28 days. The results showed that the slump yield decreased proportionally to the increasing percentage of wastewater, as well as the compressive strength results showed a decrease along with the increasing number of percentages of wastewater. This event is because the amount of chemical content of wastewater parameters of chloride and sulfate is greater than the yield of groundwater. The results of this study with a percentage of 100% wastewater with a compressive strength of 23.402 MPa can generally be used for reinforced concrete such as bridge floor plates, diaphragms, reinforced concrete culverts, and etc. Key Words: Wastewater, Workability, Slump, Compressive Strength.
