Abstract

Limited land and the high price of land become a problem in the provision of adequate housing for people, especially those with low income, then one solution is the construction of vertical housing or better known as the construction of flats. Flats are vertical dwellings whose construction is prioritized at locations above the former slum and the main target is the inhabitants of the village itself, the majority of whose population is low income. This urbanized society has a culture or way of life of rural communities that emphasizes social harmony in interacting socially, and this culture is still attached even though they have moved to the city. Therefore, we need the form of flats that accommodate the needs of this urbanized society. Keywords: Low-Cost Housing, Architecture, Circle of Friends Keterbatasan lahan dan mahalnya harga tanah menjadi masalah dalam penyediaan hunian yang layak bagi masyarakat terutama mereka yang berpenghasilan rendah, maka salah satu solusinya adalah pembangunan hunian vertikal atau lebih dikenal dengan pembangunan rumah susun. Rumah susun merupakan hunian yang disusun vertikal yang pembangunannya diprioritaskan pada lokasi di atas bekas kampung kumuh dan sasaran utamanya adalah penghuni kampung itu sendiri yang mayoritas penduduknya berpenghasilan rendah. Masyarakat urbanisasi ini memiliki kebudayaan atau cara hidup masyarakat desa yang menonjolkan keguyuban dalam berinterkasi sosialnya, dan budaya ini masih melekat meskipun mereka sudah berpindah ke kota. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan bentuk rumah susun yang mengakomodasi kebutuhan masyarakat urbanisasi ini. Kata Kunci: Rumah Susun Sederhana Milik, Arsitektur, Paguyuban
