Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of institutional ownership and Return on Assets on firm value. The population in this study are mining companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015-2017. This research uses a causal method. The research sample uses perposive sampling method with 48 data from 16 mining companies listed on the Stock Exchange. The type of data used is secondary data taken by accessing the site www.idx.co.id. Data analysis uses Multiple Linear Regression through descriptive statistical tests, classic assumption tests and hypothesis tests. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables namely Institutional Ownership and Return on Assets have a significant effect on Company Value. Keywords: Institutional Ownership, Return on Assets, Company Value. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh kepemilikan institusional dan Return on Assets terhadap nilai perusahaan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar dibursa efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2015-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausal. Sampel penelitian menggunakan metode perposive sampling dengan jumlah data 48 sampel dari 16 perusahaan Pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diambil dengan mengakses situs www.idx.co.id. Analisa data menggunakan Regresi Linear Berganda dengan melalui uji statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variable independen yaitu Kepemilikan Institusional dan Return on Assets berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. Kata kunci: Kepemilikan Institusional, Return on Assets, Nilai Perusahaan.
