Abstract

A Pharmaceutical Company that produce drug such as tablet, capsule and cream. But,company cant achieve their production target for Cream A product type. Therefore a design improvement effort is carried out to identify and eliminate the waste that occurs during the process flow with the Value Stream Mapping method, which is an approach to minimize waste that occurs in the process flow, 5S and adding jobdesc then there is a reduction in the lead time of 5624.17 seconds. A reduction in necessary non value added time of 3212.66 seconds or 28.91%, reduction in non value added time by 2411.55 seconds or 48.45 Keywords : Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, Waste, Value Added, Lead Time Sebuah perusahaan Farmasi yang memproduksi sediaan obat seperti sedian tablet, kapsul maupun cream. Namun, perusahaan tidak dapat mencapai target produksi yang telah direncanakan untuk jenis produk Cream A. Oleh karena itu dilakukan perancangan suatu usaha perbaikan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengeliminasi waste yang terjadi selama aliran proses dengan metode Value Stream Mapping yang merupakan pendekatan untuk meminimasi pemborosan yang terjadi pada aliran proses. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dengan melakukan penggabungan proses kerja, melakukan 5R serta penambahan jobdesc maka adanya pengurangan lead time sebesar 5624.17 detik. Pengurangan waktu necessary non value added sebesar 3212.66 detik atau sebesar 28.91% pengurangan waktu non value added sebesar 2411.55 detik atau sebesar 48.45%.
