Abstract

PT. Trafoindo Prima Perkasa is one of the manufacturing company engaged in manufacturing transformer with trademark Trafindo. Productivity is a major factor in all manufacturing industries. One method used as data processing is the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method.This research focuses on Production Line 1 at PT. Trafoindo Prima Perkasa which is devoted to producing demand transformer from the company of state-owned enterprises (BUMN). The aim of this research is to calculate the performance value of production Line 1 using Objective Matrix (OMAX), know the lowest ratio of production Line 1, and produce the root cause of the problem that is causing low production productivity transformer Production Line 1. Data that use for data processing in the form of actual production data, production target, working days, and the use of Trafoindo label for one month with the period of January 2018-August 2018. To evaluation used the 5 Whys method by looking for the root of the problem that is the cause of low productivity Production Line 1.The performance indicator value of Production Line 1 period of January 2018-August 2018 is 400, 180, 360, 280, 200, 60, 240, and 340. While the ratio has the lowest value is 3 ratio (Total actual production/total target production). It is also known that the root problem is the main raw material placement located quite far from the related workstation. With the advice given is moving the location of the raw material to a closer pace as it will accelerate the process on the associated workstation. Trafoindo Prima Perkasa adalah salah satu perusahaan manufaktur bergerak dalam pembuatan trafo dengan merk dagang Trafindo. Produktivitas adalah faktor utama pada semua industri manufaktur. Salah satu metode yang digunakan sebagai pengolahan data adalah metode Objective Matrix(OMAX).Penelitianini berfokus pada Production Line 1 di PT. Trafoindo Prima Perkasa yang dikhususkan untuk memproduksi trafo permintaan dari perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghitung nilai performansi produksi Production Line 1 menggunakan Objective Matrix (OMAX), mengetahui rasio terendah Production Line 1, dan menghasilkan akar masalah yang menjadi penyebab rendahnya produktivitas produksi trafo Production Line 1. Data yang gunakan untuk pengolahan data berupa data produksi aktual, target produksi, hari kerja, dan penggunaan label trafoindo selama satu bulan dengan periode Januari 2018-Agustus 2018. Untuk evalusi digunakan metode The 5 whys dengan mencari akar masalah yang menjadi penyebab rendahnya produktivitasProduction Line 1.Nilai indikator performansi yang dicapai Production Line 1 periode Januari 2018-Agustus 2018 adalah 400, 180, 360, 280, 200, 60, 240, dan 340. Sedangkan rasio yang memiliki nilai terendah adalah rasio 3 (Total produksi aktual/total target produksi). Diketahui pula akar masalah yaitu penempatan bahan baku utama yang terletak cukup jauh dari stasiun kerja terkait. Dengan saran yang diberikan adalah memindahkan lokasi bahan baku menjadi lebih dekat karena akan mempercepat proses pada stasiun kerja terkait.
