Abstract

Rusunami (Rumah Susun Sederhana Milik) is one solution to solve the problem of dense settlements in urban areas. The type of multi-storey building construction in Rusunami provides an opportunity for effective land use for a large number of people / families. As many-storey buildings and densely populated households, then the risk of consuming energy is quite large. Therefore we need an energy saving design strategy for the type of building. This paper describes a concept or idea of Rusunami design located in Cakung City by applying the concept of energy saving architecture. The design orientation, openings, and façade material, become the design priority to achieve energy saving goals. The biggest energy is used to meet the electric power for artificial ventilation and lighting systems. Keywords: Settlement, Rusunami, Save Energy Rusunami (Rumah Susun Sederhana Milik) adalah salah satu solusi untuk menyelesaikan masalah pemukiman padat di perkotaan. Tipe konstruksi bangunan bertingkat banyak pada Rusunami, memberi peluang penggunaan lahan yang efektif untuk tempat tinggal bagi banyak manusia/keluarga. Sebagai bangunan bertingkat banyak dan padat penghuni berumah tangga, maka beresiko mengkonsumsi energy yang cukup besar. Karena itu diperlukan strategi desain hemat energy pada tipe bangunan tersebut. Tulisan ini memaparkan suatu konsep atau gagasan rancangan Rusunami yang terletak di Kota Cakung dengan menerapkan konsep arsitektur hemat energi. Rancangan orientasi, bukaan, dan material façade, menjadi prioritas rancangan untuk mencapai tujuan hemat energi. Energi terbesar dipakai untuk memenuhi daya listrik bagi sistim penghawaan dan penerangan buatan. Kata Kunci: Pemukiman, Rusunami, Hemat Energi
