Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of profitability, liquidity, sales growth, price earning ratio, and firm size toward capital structure on Agriculture Sector companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange. This study uses annual data for the period of observations from the year 2010 up to the year 2016. This type of Research is Descriptive of causality. The data used is the data panel which is a combination of data annual time sort and cross section are processed by using the E-program Views 09. Its population is the whole Agriculture company listed on the Indonesia stock exchange years 2010 to 2016 a host of 21 companies. Sampling techniques using a purposive sampling, found samples of as much as 12 company with 7 years of observations so that the retrieved a total of observation as much as 84. Data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Yahoo Finance. Data analysis in this research is the regression of the data panel. The model used is a Common Effect Model. The results of the analysis indicate that profitability negative effect to capital structure, while the liquidity, sales growth, price earning ratio and firm size no effect to capital structure on agriculture sector in Indonesia stock exchange. Keywords: Capital Structure, Profitability, Liquidity, Sales Growth, Price Earning Ratio, Firm Size Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, Likuiditas, Pertumbuhan Penjualan, Rasio Pasar dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Struktur Modal pada perusahaan Sektor Agrikultur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan data tahunan untuk periode observasi dari tahun 2010 sampai dengan tahun 2016. Jenis Penelitiannya adalah Deskriptif Kausalitas. Data yang digunakan merupakan data panel yang merupakan kombinasi data urut waktu tahunan dan cross section yang diolah dengan menggunakan program E-Views 09. Populasinya adalah seluruh perusahaan Agrikultur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2010 sampai dengan tahun 2016 sejumlah 21 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, ditemukan sampel sebanyak 12 perusahaan dengan pengamatan 7 tahun sehingga diperoleh total observasi sebanyak 84. Data diperoleh dari idx.co.id. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel. Model yang digunakan adalah Common Effect Model. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap struktur modal, sedangkan likuiditas, pertumbuhan penjualan, rasio pasar, dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan sektor Agrikultur di Bursa Efek Indonesia.
