Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of the Audit Committee, Liquidity, Profitability Leverage and Firm Sizeon Financial Distress. The population in this study is the Property and Real Estate Sub Sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2017 Period. The sample in this study were 132 out of 44 companies that met the criteria. The sampling technique in this study uses the purposive sampling method. SPSS 21 as an analytical tool in this study. The research data used is secondary data, namely financial statements that publish on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id) and the company's official website. Data analysis techniques that are multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Liquidity and Profitability have negative effects on Financial Distress. While Leverage has a positive effect on Financial Distress. Meanwhile Firm Size and Audit Committee do not affect the Financial Distress. Keywords: Financial Distress, Audit Committee, Liquidity, Profitability, Leverage and Firm Size. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Komite Audit, Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, Leverage dan Ukuran Perusahaan Terhadap Financial Distress. Populasi dalam penelitian ini perusahaan Sub Sektor Property dan Real Estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2015-2017. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 132 dari 44 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. SPSS 21 digunakan sebagai alat analisis dalam penelitian ini. Data penelitian yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yaitu laporan keuangan yang publish di Bursa Efek Indonesia (www.idx.co.id) dan website resmi perusahaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Likuiditas dan Profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap Financial Distress. Sedangkan Leverage menunjukan pengaruh positif terhadap Financial Distress. Sementara itu Ukuran Perusahaan dan Komite Audit tidak menunjukan pengaruh terhadap Financial Distress. Kata kunci: Financial Distress, Komite Audit, Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, Leverage dan Ukuran Perusahaan.
