Abstract

Pemali River is a river in the Central Java Province, Indonesia, about 250 km east of the capital city Jakarta. Pemali River has an upstream in Winduaji Village, Paguyangan District, Distrik Brebes with the name of the water spring Tuk Sirah. Pemali River is the largest river in Distrik Brebes with a length of approximately 125.4 Km flowing from south to north. This river empties into the Java Sea. If the Pemali River overflows make flooding in the Central Java Brebes area, areas that are often affected by the Pemali River overflow include Jatibarang, Wanasari and Brebes Districts. From the analysis that has been carried out on the Pemali River by the Synthetic Unit Hydrophraph (HSS) Nakayasu method and by using tools such as Software Hecras, several flood surges were found. During the 2-year return period there was no flood overflow with peak maksimum (Q max) 1326.039 m3 / seconds, in the 5 year return period there was a flood overflow in the downstream cross section, in Sta.0 with Q max 1503,383 m3 / second, in the 10 year return period there was a flood overflow in the downstream cross section ie in Sta.0 with Q max 1621,741 m3 / seconds, in the 25-year return period there is an overflow at the end of the river downstream, in cross sections 0, 1 & 2, cross section 3 on the right and downstream cross section 29 on the right there is also a overflow of water with Q max 1768,541 m3 / sec. Keywords: flood, overflow, simulation, peak maxsimum Sungai Pemali adalah sungai yang terletak di wilayah Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Indonesia, sekitar 250 km di timur ibu kota Jakarta. Sungai Pemali berhulu di Desa Winduaji, Kecamatan Paguyangan, Kabupaten Brebes dengan nama mata airnya yaitu Tuk Sirah. Sungai Pemali merupakan sungai terbesar yang ada di Kabupaten Brebes dengan panjang sekira 125,4 Km mengalir dari selatan ke utara. Sungai ini bermuara ke Laut Jawa Jika sungai pemali meluap mengakibatkan banjir di daerah brebes jawa tengah, daerah yang sering terkena dampak dari luapan sungai Pemali antara lain Kecamatan Jatibarang, Wanasari dan Brebes. Dari analilis yang telah dilakukan terhadap sungai pemali dengan metode Hidrofraf Satuan Sintetik (HSS) Nakayasu dan Dengan menggunakan alat bantu berupa Software Hecras, ditemukan beberapa luapan banjir, Pada periode ulang 2 tahun tidak terjadi luapan banjir dengan debit puncak (Q max) 1326.039 m3/detik, Pada periode ulang 5 tahun terjadi luapan banjir di Cross section hilir yaitu di Sta.0 dengan Q max 1503.383 m3/detik, Pada periode ulang 10 tahun terjadi luapan banjir di Cross section hilir yaitu di Sta.0 dengan Q max 1621.741 m3/detik, pada periode ulang 25 tahun terdapat luapan di bagian ujung hilir sungai yaitu pada cross section 0, 1 & 2, cross section 3 disebelah kanan dan dibagian hilir cross section 29 disebelah kanan juga terdapat luapan air dengan Q max 1768.541 m3/detik.
