Abstract
Urban Toys types of toys are one of the products of modern art in contrast to factory toys in general because they are made with limited quota, Animals are one living creature that is often used as a reference for the development of characters and characterizations of fictional characters, both just body shape and nature. from these animals. Taking the theme of tapir animals because of their unique shape and exploring new forms of tapir into urban toys. Because of their unique head shape, this tapir urban toys has a new function, lock system. Keywords: Urban Toys, Animals, lock system Urban Toys jenis mainan salah satu produk seni rupa modern bertolak belakang dengan mainan pabrikan pada umumnya karena dibuat dengan kuota terbatas. Hewan adalah salah satu makhluk hidup yang sering dijadikan referensi untuk pembangunan tokoh dan penokohan karakter fiktif, baik hanya bentuk tubuhnya saja hingga ke sifat alami dari hewan tersebut. Mengambil tema binatang tapir karena keunikan bentuknya serta mengeksplore bentuk baru tapir ke dalam urban toys, kerena bentuk kepala yang unik memungkinkan urban toys tapir ini memiliki fungsi baru yaitu lock system. Kata Kunci: Urban Toys, Hewan ,lock sys
