Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, debt policy, and managerial ownership. Profitability is measured through return on equity ratio, debt policy is measure through debt to equity ratio, and managerial ownership is measured by the percentage of share ownership held by the manager divided by the number of shares outstanding. The study sample consisted of 19 observation of LQ45 companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2017. Multiple regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis in this study. The result showed that the profitability had an effect on firm value, debt policy had an effect on firm value, and managerial ownership had an effect on firm value. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, kebijakan hutang, dan kepemilikan manajerial terhadap nilai perusahaan. Profitabilitas diukur melalui return on equity ratio, kebijakan hutang diukur melalui debt to equity ratio, dan kepemilikan manajerial diukur melalui presentase kepemilikan saham yang dimiliki oleh pihak manajer dibagi jumlah saham yang beredar sedangkan nilai perusahaan diukur dengan menggunkan price to book value. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 19 observasi perusahaan LQ45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2014 sampai dengan tahun 2017. Analisis regresi berganda digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, kebijakan hutang berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan.
