Abstract

High gain antennas have been used in modern communication systems, such as military or army, search radar, and satellite communications. Antennas with high gain using two polarizations can increase the efficiency of spectrum utilization in satellite communications. Ku-band or Kurtz-under band, this frequency band is used on communication satellites, especially for publishing and broadcasting satellite television or Direct Broadcast Television. The antenna which support the development of this technology is the transmitarray antenna. In this final project is designed and realized transmitarray antenna with 37 elements that work at a frequency of 12.5 Ghz. The design process through simulation on Ansoft HFSS 15.0 software The fabrication process uses the Rogers Duroid 4003C substrate with a thickness of 0.51 mm ɛr = 3.55 and tanδ = 0.0027. This transmitarray antenna produces a gain of 16.47 dB. Keywords : transmitarray antenna, Ku-Band frequency, high gain Antena dengan gain tinggi telah digunakan dalam sistem komunikasi modern, misalnya militer atau tentara, radar pencarian, dan komunikasi satelit. Antena dengan gain tinggi yang menggunakan dua polarisasi, dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pemanfaatan spektrum dalam komunikasi satelit. Ku-Band atau Kurtz-under band, pita frekuensi ini digunakan pada satelit komunikasi, khususnya untuk penerbitan dan penyiaran satelit televisi atau Direct Broadcast Television. Antena yang dikembangkan untuk menunjang pengembangan teknologi ini adalah Antena transmitarray. Pada tugas akhir ini dirancang dan direalisasikan antena transmitarray dengan 37 elemen yang bekerja pada frekuensi 12,5 Ghz Proses perancangan melalui simulasi pada software Ansoft HFSS 15.0 Proses fabrikasi menggunakan substrat Rogers Duroid 4003C dengan ketebalan 0.51 mm ɛr = 3,55 dan tanδ = 0.0027. Antena transmitarray ini menghasilkan gain 16,47 dB. Kata Kunci : antena transmitarray, frekuensi Ku-Band, gain tinggi
