Abstract
Indonesia is a large country in Asia, therefore the development sector in Indonesia must be considered. For this reason, the quality of building construction must also be considered, especially building structures. In order to reduce the risks and impacts that will result in losses from cracks that occur in buildings, an idea emerged to create a system that works in detecting cracks that occur in building construction. This system will use the Otsu thresholding method in matlab processing and this experiment uses several preprocessing methods such as median filter, imgaussfilt, imsharpen, special gaussian, sobel, prewitt, Laplacian, log, average, unsharp an d feature extraction results displayed on Graphical user Interface (GUI). . This process combines the Otsu thresholding method with preprocessing so that there is a difference in each processing, where the highest performance is 100% correct. and the lowest 14% shows a lot of mistakes. Keywords: Otsu Thresholding, GUI, Prapocesing, Matlab. Indonesia merupakan negara di asia yang besar dengan demikian sektor pembangunan di Indonesia harus diperhatikan. Untuk itu, kualitas pembangunan gedung juga harus diperhatikan terutama struktur bangunan. Demi mengurangi resiko dan dampak yang akan menimbulkan kerugian dari keretakan yang terjadi pada bangunan, munculah sebuah ide untuk menciptakan sistem yang bekerja dalam mendeteksi keretakan yang terjadi pada pembangunan gedung. Sistem ini akan menggunakan metode thresholding Otsu dalam pengolahan matlab dan percobaan ini menggunakan beberapa praprocesing seperti median filter, imgaussfilt, imsharpen, fspesial gaussian, sobel, prewitt, Laplacian, log, average, unsharp dan hasil ekstraksi fitur ditampilkan pada Graphical user Interface (GUI). Proses ini menggabungan metode thresholding Otsu dengan praprocesing agar terdapat perbedaan dari masing - masing processing, yang dimana performa tertinggi yaitu 100% menujukan benar . dan paling rendah 14% menunjukan banyak kesalahan.
