Abstract
The evacuation route in a shopping center is very important to note, and should match the standards, so that evacuation takes place when natural disaster occur can be more optimally in their implementation. Blok M Mall Plaza located in the central area of Blok M in South Jakarta, surrounded with by various modes of transportation, Terminal block M and Blok M MRT station, making this Plaza Blok M mall as mall which can also be called as building TOD (Transite oriented development), with a very convenient location of the Blok M mall, the plaza became one of mall in Jakarta that have the number of visitors. The crowd on the mall blok M plaza makes researchers interested in knowing to efektivitasan means and routes for emergency evacuation in Blok M Plaza mall. This research was conducted on some of the main floor of the mall lower ground floor, such as upper ground floor, 1st floor, 2-5, and the 6th floor. The method in use in the data retrieval using quantitative methods based on evaluative methods. Where for the collection of data using observation and also the questionnaire. The data obtained are then juxtaposed in order to get the results of a comparison between observation data with the data of perception of visitors about the path and means of emergency evacuation mall Blok M Plaza. ABSTRAK Jalur dan sarana evakuasi pada sebuah pusat perbelanjaan sangatlah penting untuk diperhatikan, dan harus sesuai standar, agar evakuasi yang berlangsung ketika terjadi bencana alam dapat lebih maksimal dalam pelaksanaannya. Mall blok M Plaza yang terletak ditengah kawasan Blok M Jakarta Selatan, dengan dikelilingi oleh berbagai moda transportasi yang diantaranya, Terminal Blok M dan Stasiun MRT Blok M, menjadikan mall Blok M Plaza ini sebagai mall yang juga dapat disebut sebagai bangunan TOD (Transite oriented development), dengan letak yang sangat strategis tersebut, mall Blok M plaza menjadi salah satu mall di Jakarta yang memiliki jumlah pengunjung yang ramai. Keramaian yang tinggi pada mall Blok M Plaza ini menjadikan peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui ke efektivitasan sarana dan jalur evakuasi darurat yang ada di dalam mall Blok M Plaza. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada beberapa lantai utama mall, yaitu lantai lower ground, upper ground, lantai 1, lantai 2-5, dan lantai 6. Metode yang di gunakan dalam pengambilan data menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang mengacu pada metode evaluatif. Dimana untuk pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi dan juga kuesioner. Data yang didapat kemudian disandingkan agar mendapatkan hasil perbandingan antara data pengamatan observasi dengan data persepsi dari pengunjung tentang jalur dan sarana evakuasi darurat mall Blok M Plaza.
