Abstract
The growth of the city every year, requires that there be efforts to rehabilitate settlements, one of which is a slum. Rusunami is one of the government's efforts to rejuvenate slums, with this rejuvenation effort the people who have lived before will remain in the area, thus not causing the emergence of new slums. Changes in the form of occupancy from landed housing to slum settlements to vertical housing in flat housing certainly have an impact on the social life of its inhabitants. The tendency for changes in the social behavior of the people that occur in housing will affect the occupancy that is occupied, the comfort of occupancy is very influential on the relevance of the occupants to their occupancy. The method used in this study is a qualitative method by direct interview in Rusunami Karet Tengsin II, by asking the residents directly what factors influence their comfort in staying in Rusunami Karet Tengsin II, there are several Place Attachment factors such as the old living, social, economic, environmental, strategic, facilities, memories, and also family. The comfort factor most experienced by residents or Place Attachments is strategic, because of the location of the apartment they live in near their work place. So from that the meaning of occupancy in Rusunami Karet Tengsin II for residents is at the level of Belonging to a place, which is where the occupants not only live but have an emotional bond with the occupancy. Keywords: Rusunami, Comfort, Place Attachment Pertumbuhan kota setiap tahunnya, mengharuskan ada nya usaha-usaha peremajaan perukiman, salah satu nya permukiman kumuh. Rusunami adalah salah satu usaha pemerintah untuk meremajakan permukiman kumuh, dengan usaha peremajaan ini masyarakat yang sebelum nya tinggal akan tetap menetap di kawasan tersebut, sehingga tidak menyebabkan kemunculan permukiman kumuh yang baru. Perubahan bentuk hunian dari landed housing pada permukiman kumuh menjadi vertical housing pada Rusunami tentunya membawa dampak terhadap kehidupan sosial penghuninya. Kecendrungan perubahan perilaku sosial masyarakat yang terjadi di rusunami akan mempengaruhi hunian yang di tempati, kenyamanan hunian sangat berpengaruh terhadap keterkaitan penghuni dengan hunian nya, dalam hal keterkaitan tersebut memiliki aspek emosioal, sosial, bentuk, dan juga komunitas. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan cara wawancara langsung di Rusunami Karet Tengsin II, dengna cara menanyakan secara langsung kepada penghuni faktor apa yang mempengaruhi kenyamanan mereka untuk tinggal di Rusunami Karet Tengsin II ini, ada beberapa faktor Place Attachment seperti lama nya tinggal, sosial, ekonomi, lingkungan, strategis, fasilitas, kenangan, dan juga keluarga. Faktor kenyamanan yang paling banyak dialami oleh penghuni atau Place Attachment adalah strategis, karena lokasi rusunami yang mereka tinggali dekat dengan tempat kerja mereka. Maka dari itu makna hunian di Rusunami Karet Tengsin II bagi penghuni nya berada di tingkatan Belonging to a place, yang di mana penghuni tidak hanya tinggal hunian nya akan tetapi memiliki sebuah ikatan emosional dengan hunian nya.
