Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of corporate social responsibility and firm size on firm value with profitability as moderation variable. This research can be categorized in associative research with a causality. The place that is the subject of research is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2015. Data analysis was done by moderation regression analysis using SPSS version 23 program. The result of data analysis showed that corporate social responsibility not have effect to corporate value, firm size had positive significant effect to corporate value, profitability could moderate the influence of corporate social responsibility and firm size towards company value. Keywords: Corporate social responsibility, profitability, firm size, corporate value Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh corporate social responsibility dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini dapat dikategorikan dalam penelitian asosiatif dengan bentuk hubungan kausalitas. Tempat yang menjadi subjek penelitian yaitu perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dalam periode 2013–2015. Analisis data dilakukan dengan moderation regression analysis menggunakan program SPSS versi 23. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa corporate social responsibility tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, profitabilitas dapat memoderasi pengaruh corporate social responsibility dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
