Abstract

Vocational High School is one of the many forms of formal education which provides the continuation educational option for the junior high school levels. SMK TI- PGRI 11 Serpong, South Tangerang is a vocational high school designed to provide not only technical skills for specific jobs but also entrepreneurial skills for students who want to be entrepreneurs. This study was conducted to analyze the entrepreneurial intention of the 12th grade students of SMK TI-PGRI 11 Serpong by using the Theory of Planned Behaviour model. Total samples used in this study were 102 respondents. Data were collected by using five points Likert-scale like questionnaires and then analyzed by using SPSS software version 21 for Windows. The results of this study showed that three antecendents of entrepreneurial intention, i.e. attitude towards the behaviour, subjective norms, and perceived behavioural control had significant partial and simultaneous positive influences to the entrepeneurial intention. Keywords : Attitude towards the behaviour, subjective norms, perceived behavioural control, entrepreneurial intention Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan salah satu bentuk satuan pendidikan formal yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan kejuruan pada jenjang pendidikan menengah sebagai lanjutan dari SMP, MTs, atau bentuk lain yang sederajat. SMK- TI PGRI 11 Serpong merupakan salah satu SMK di Serpong, Tangerang Selatan yang menyelenggarakan kegiatan belajar dan mengajar guna menyiapkan siswanya agar dapat bekerja serta mampu menciptakan lapangan kerja sendiri sesuai dengan visi SMK –TI PGRI 11 Serpong. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui intensi kewirausahaan siswa kelas XII di SMK- TI PGRI 11 Serpong menggunakan Theory of Planned Behaviour pada sampel 102 siswa sebagai responden. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner serupa dengan skala Likert lima poin. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan bantuan software SPSS version 21 for Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa tiga antesenden dari intensi kewirausahaan, yaitu attitude towards the behaviour (sikap terhadap perilaku), subjective norms (norma subyektif), dan perceived behavioural control (persepsi terhadap kendali perilaku) berpengaruh positif baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap intensi kewirausahaan.
