Abstract

A watch or watch is a timepiece used on a human wrist. The watch was first introduced in the 16th century. At that time all watches and other time-pointing devices use manual mechanical (hand-winding) engines. In this case, I was inspired to explore the clock by using new materials, namely by using resin materials and a combination of wood, resin materials and wood chosen because of Indonesia's natural products which are abundant in their natural products. The exploration of resin and wood was chosen as a new form of innovation into the form of a watch with different colors of color forming an abstract color flow. In making products with resin and wood materials using techniques such as brick making by printing, this process is more to the manual process in its manufacture, and requires considering the aesthetics, and the right size so that a watch is realized into a fashion product. Keywords: Fashion, Watches, Resin, Wood Jam tangan atau Arloji adalah penunjuk waktu yang dipakai di pergelangan tangan manusia. Jam tangan pertama kali diperkenalkan pada abad ke-16. Pada saat itu semua jam tangan dan alat penunjuk waktu lainnya menggunakan mesin penggerak mekanik manual (hand-winding). Dalam hal ini, saya terinspirasi untuk mengeksplorasi jam tersebut dengan menggnakan material baru, yaitu dengan menggunakan material resin dan gabungan kayu, material resin dan kayu dipilih dikarnakan hasil alam Indonesia yang berlimpah akan hasil alamnya. Eksplorasi resin dan kayu ini dipilih sebagai inovasi bentuk baru ke dalam bentuk jam tangan dengan penarapan warna yang berbeda membentuk aliran warna yang abstrak. Dalam pembuatan produk dengan material resin dan kayu menggunakan teknik seperti pembuatan batu-bata dengan cara mencetak, proses ini lebih ke proses manual dalam pembuatannya, dan di perlukan mempertimbangkan tentang estetika, dan ukuran yang tepat agar sebuah jam tangan terealisasikan menjadi sebuah produk fashion.
