Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of Profitability and Capital Structure on Dividend Policy to the food and beverages companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the periode of 2013 – 2017. The independent variables used on this study are Return On Asset (X1) and Debt to Equity Ratio (X2). The dependent variables used on this study are Dividend Payout Ratio(Y). The sample used in this study is the audited financial report of the food and beverages companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2013 to 2017. The method used for selecting sample is purposive sampling and the data analysis used is multiple regression analysis.The result shows that simultaneously Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Return On Asset (ROA) have significant effect on Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Partially, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has negative and significant effect on Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), while Return On Asset (ROA) does not have significant effect on Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Keywords: Return on Asset, Debt to Equity Ratio, Dividend Payout Ratio, food and beverages companies Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Profitabilitas dan Struktur Modal terhadap Kebijakan Dividen perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013 – 2017. Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Return on Asset (X1) dan Debt to Equity Ratio (X2). Variabel dependen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Dividend Payout Ratio (Y). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah laporan keuangan hasil audit perusahaan makanan dan minuman dalam kurun waktu 2013 sampai dengan 2017. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Return on Asset (ROA) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Secara parsial, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan, sedangkan Return on Asset (ROA) tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR).
